From the Olympic city of Innsbruck you reach the Stubai valley in about 20 minutes' drive via the toll-charged Brenner motorway A13, crossing Europe's highest bridge, the Europabrücke. Take the Schönberg/Stubaital exit (exit no. 10).
Alternatively you can travel toll-free along the Brenner federal road to Schönberg – around 35 minutes' drive.
Any standard navigation system will guide you reliably right to the door – the address Habichtsgasse 6 is all you need.
Travelling by train and bus is particularly easy. Public bus line no. 590 runs directly from Innsbruck main station into the Stubai valley.
Get off at the Neustift-Kampl stop and turn into Habichtsgasse directly next to the school campus. From there you reach Casa Habicht in just one minute on foot. The journey time from Innsbruck to Kampl is approximately 35 minutes.
From stations further afield in Germany or Switzerland, you can reach Innsbruck comfortably by train, then continue by bus as described above.
For the journey from Innsbruck to Neustift-Kampl and back, the Stubai Tirol tourist board provides you with a voucher for one free use of bus line no. 590.
This way you avoid the search for parking at your destination and travel comfortably and affordably.
Important: a separate voucher for the outward and return journey must be created and printed for each participating person – the printout must be handed in on board.Innsbruck Airport lies in the heart of the Alps and, at around 25 km from the Stubai valley, is an attractive alternative.
From the airport you continue by taxi or public transport: bus line F runs every 15 to 30 minutes to the main station, from where bus no. 590 goes into the Stubai valley.
Innsbruck Airport also has numerous car rental providers on site, in case you would prefer to drive yourself.
Everything within reach
The most important everyday destinations are just a few minutes’ walk away. The bus from the Kampl stop takes you to all four ski and hiking areas of the valley and to Innsbruck.
