Holiday apartment in the Stubai Valley with mountain views

Sun terrace, garden and the Stubai mountains before your eyes

Holiday apartment in the Stubai Valley with mountain views

At Casa Habicht you wake up to a panoramic view of the Stubai Alps. Enjoy the view of the imposing Stubai mountains straight from the holiday apartment, the garden or the sun terrace.

Garden and sun terrace

Both holiday apartments come with a garden with sunbathing lawn and a sun terrace with seating and a wonderful view of the Stubai mountains.

Casa Habicht is in the sunny Kampl district – quiet, yet central. The landscaped lake with playground and sports facilities is a five-minute walk away, and the Stubai Valley cycle path starts right next to the house.

For the sunrise, the Stubai Valley has two front-row seats. If you are sure-footed and set off early, you can watch it from the Serles – the distinctive mountain at the entrance to the valley and one of the Stubai Seven Summits. The easier option is Schlick 2000: on selected summer days, the Kreuzjochbahn takes guests up to the StubaiBlick viewing platform at dawn.

Highlights of the Stubai Valley

Mountains in summer

Peaks

On the Stubai Glacier, the TOP OF TYROL viewing platform at 3,210 metres opens up a panorama over the Stubai Alps. The Seven Summits Stubai bring together the most striking peaks in the valley.
Water in the Stubai Valley

Water

At around 85 metres wide, the Grawa Waterfall is considered the widest waterfall in the Eastern Alps. The Wilde Wasser Weg follows the Ruetz through the upper Stubai Valley. Higher up lie the nine Stubai mountain lakes, from the Mutterberger See on the Stubai Glacier to the Grünausee. Glacier water and springs colour them deep blue or emerald green. Most are reached on demanding mountain hikes, ideally between June and September.
Winter landscape

Powder snow

Austria’s largest glacier ski area lies at the end of the valley. On the Stubai Glacier, the slopes reach up to 3,210 metres and the season runs from October into May. Besides groomed pistes, wide freeride slopes tempt off-piste. The valley adds three more ski areas, around 40 kilometres of cross-country trails and over 80 kilometres of cleared winter hiking paths.

From the apartment into the mountains

The location in Kampl means short distances: the bus stop is a one-minute walk away, and from there the free bus takes you to all four ski and hiking areas in the valley – Stubai Glacier, Schlick 2000, Serlesbahnen and Elferbahnen.

The panoramic trails on the Elfer and the various themed trails in Schlick 2000 are ideal for half-day outings. For longer hikes, try sections of the Stubai High Trail, the Sunnenseit’n Weg or a stage of the Seven Summits Stubai.

Part of the Stubai Alps is a designated quiet area. The paths carry the Tyrolean quality seal for secured, uniformly waymarked mountain trails – reassuring, especially with children.

Stay somewhere quiet, reach the mountains fast

Kampl is sunny and central in the heart of the Stubai Valley: a grocery shop is a one-minute walk away, a cash machine 100 metres, and the landscaped lake with playground and sports facilities makes a nice late-afternoon outing.

Together with Schönberg, Mieders, Telfes and Fulpmes, Neustift is one of the five villages of the Stubai Valley. For families, the Treehouse Trail, the Mammut high-altitude playground and the Elfercoaster are all within easy reach; with 130 elements across 13 courses, the Adventure Park in Fulpmes is the largest high ropes course in Tyrol.

How to get here – by car, by train and bus or via Innsbruck Airport – is explained on the page Location & Directions.

Equipped for your holiday

A fully equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer compartment, fan oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and coffee machine makes self-catering easy. A grocery shop is a one-minute walk away.
