Casa Habicht with covered parking in Neustift-Kampl

Accommodation in the Stubai Valley with parking

Covered, right at the apartment, with a charging point next door

Accommodation in the Stubai Valley with parking

If you drive to the Stubai Valley in your own car, you don’t want to hunt for a parking space every evening or scrape ice off your windscreen in winter. At Casa Habicht, a covered parking space comes with the holiday apartment, and a public charging point is just ten metres away.

Covered parking space right at the apartment

A covered parking space for one car is located directly at the apartment and included in the price. You park right at the house – no searching for a space and no detours with your luggage.

There is also a public EV charging point close by, around 10 metres from the apartment. If you arrive by electric car, you can charge overnight and set off in the morning with a full battery.

In winter, the roof pays off twice: no ice scraping, no snowed-in windscreen and a dry path to the boot.

Bikes safely stored

Lockable storage for bicycles and mountain bikes; the valley cycle path starts next to the house.

Arriving by car

From the Olympic city of Innsbruck, the Stubai Valley is around 20 minutes’ drive via the toll Brenner motorway A13. On the way you cross the Europabrücke, which at around 190 metres is one of the highest bridges in Europe. Take the Schönberg/Stubaital exit (exit no. 10).

Alternatively, take the toll-free Brenner main road to Schönberg – allow around 35 minutes for this. From Schönberg the road runs through the five villages of the valley to Neustift.

You will find detailed directions with a map under Location & Directions.

Summer in the Stubai Valley

A car-free holiday

The bus stop is a one-minute walk away, and so is a grocery shop. The four ski and hiking areas in the valley – Stubai Glacier, Schlick 2000, Serlesbahnen and Elferbahnen – are easy to reach with the free bus.

In summer, the Stubai Super Card is included. It covers free use of the four Stubai mountain railways and free travel on public transport in the valley and to Innsbruck.

Bikes can also be taken on most public transport in the valley.

Bridge over the Ruetz on the Wilde Wasser Weg

Wilde Wasser Weg

The Grawa Waterfall lies in the upper Stubai Valley – at around 85 metres wide, it is the widest waterfall in the Eastern Alps. The Wilde Wasser Weg leads in three stages from Ranalt along the Ruetz to the Sulzenauferner glacier, following the path of the water from the glacier down to the valley. Wide sections and short loops make it a lovely outing for families too.
Summer toboggan run of the Serlesbahnen in Mieders

Racing down to the valley

In Mieders, the Serlesbahnen take you up to the top station, from where the summer toboggan run winds its way back down to the valley. The valley station is quickly reached from Neustift along the valley road, and one ride per week is included with the Stubai Super Card.
Schlick 2000 ski area

Four ski areas

Stubai Glacier, Schlick 2000, Serlesbahnen and Elferbahnen are spread across the valley – and you can reach all four easily by bus. The stop is just a one-minute walk from the apartment. The car stays put, and there is no hunting for a parking space at the valley station.

An ideal base in summer and winter

In summer, the new Stubai cycle route 19 runs right past the house – from Stefansbrücke near Innsbruck to Falbeson in the upper Stubai Valley. Lockable storage is available for all bikes.

In winter, you benefit from a ski room with ski boot dryer. Away from the slopes, the Stubai Valley is home to Tyrol’s largest toboggan arena, with ten runs totalling around 41 kilometres. Add to that around 40 kilometres of groomed cross-country trails and over 80 kilometres of cleared winter hiking paths.

From the Elfer, Neustift’s local mountain, two natural toboggan runs, each around six kilometres long, lead down to the valley. One of them is floodlit and snow-making equipped, and open for night tobogganing on several evenings a week.

The apartments

The two apartments, Elfer and Sonnenstein, each have two bedrooms for two to four guests, measure around 50 and 53 square metres respectively and are fully equipped – including a kitchen with dishwasher and oven, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi. A garden with sunbathing lawn and a sun terrace with views of the Stubai mountains are part of the package.

For children under two, we provide a free cot including bed linen, and a high chair is available if needed. Both apartments are deliberately kept pet-free.
